About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and dynamic Audit Senior to join our growing team. In this role, you will plan, lead and perform audit assignments, ensuring that audits are completed on time, comply with professional standards, and provide clients with high-quality assurance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate audit assignments from start to completion.
Lead audit fieldwork and supervise audit assistants and junior auditors.
Review accounting records, financial statements and supporting documents.
Identify financial risks, internal control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
Prepare audit working papers and ensure they meet professional standards.
Assist in business development by identifying opportunities for additional services.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Audit Manager or Partner.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
CPA(K), ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification, completed or at an advanced stage.
Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in external auditing, preferably in an audit firm.
Strong proficiency in auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks and bookkeeping software.
