HFCB Limited is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Ultimate Banking Relationship Manager in the Mombasa, Eldoret, and Kisumu branches. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, identify customer needs, provide appropriate banking products and solutions, and drive profitable revenue and volume growth through new acquisition, relationship deepening, and cross-selling.

About the Role

The Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for servicing and managing client relationships by engaging clients, identifying their needs, and providing appropriate products, services, and solutions from the entire range of HFCB Banking products. The role holder will focus on new acquisition, deepening existing customer relationships, and cross-selling to increase customer share of wallet with the Bank.

Key Accountabilities

Cross-sell HFCB products by establishing new relationships in order to grow both the assets and liabilities book.
Closely manage the top 50 customers with a portfolio not exceeding 200 customers.
Deputize the Branch Business Manager when they are not available to drive the Bank's strategy and execute objectives.
Manage the high-net-worth customers of the Bank.
Mobilize deposits, grow assets, manage revenue drivers, and grow the PPC.
Maintain customer relations through regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
Review account opening forms and loan applications by scrutinizing documents to ensure they are KYC compliant.
Check data entry by verifying captured data against source documents to ensure accuracy.
Analyze mortgage loan applications by interviewing customers.
Identify customers' borrowing needs through interviews to ensure the right mortgage product is sold.
Safeguard Bank assets by being a dual custodian to minimize frauds and losses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
Retail Banking Associate (RBA UK) or a similar qualification.
Customer Relationship Management Course.
CISI Certified Level 1 will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of banking products, policies, procedures, services, and CBK Prudential Guidelines.
