The company is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse to ensure quality nursing services and excellent patient experiences through standardized patient triaging, emergency management, MCH/FP services, and other outpatient procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive and high-quality clinical services, including initial patient assessment, triaging, MCH/FP services, nursing procedures, and administration of IV or IM medications using nursing best practices.
Ensure the Medical Centre is ready and well stocked with supplies and equipment, including clean and sterile items for general and emergency cases.
Implement infection prevention and control best practices and Penda Health's IPC protocols.
Accurately and comprehensively record patient data in Penda's electronic medical record in real-time.
Complete the necessary Ministry of Health reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate submission.
Provide quality patient education and excellent patient experiences to all clients.
Embrace, learn, and develop within an evidence-based medical system in line with Penda's developed protocols.
Participate in continuous professional development to remain current with advances in medical practices and technology.
Work with the nurse officer in charge and branch manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance clinical and nursing operations.
Undertake additional tasks within the Medical Centre as assigned by the branch manager or nursing officer in charge.
Work effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

Diploma in Nursing, KRCHN, with a valid practising licence from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Valid BLS certification is mandatory.
ACLS certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy healthcare facility.
Demonstrated experience in MCH/FP.
Good written and verbal communication skills with outstanding patient interaction skills.
Strong demonstrated ability to use electronic health records and digital health tools.
