Position: Contact Centre Agent.

Reports To: Helpdesk and Call Center Supervisor.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and social media while providing accurate information on flights, bookings, company policies, and the best available fares.
Process booking reservations, modifications, and cancellations while recruiting, managing, and retaining customers.
Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets through effective customer engagement.
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
Resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism while escalating complex issues when necessary.
Maintain current knowledge of Jambojet services, promotions, and policies to improve customer support and sales performance.
Collect and document customer feedback to support continuous service improvement.
Work closely with other departments to resolve customer concerns while ensuring the safety and security of company property within the call center.
Comply with all company procedures and customer service standards during every interaction.
Participate in company initiatives and recommend improvements that enhance products, services, and the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

IATA or UFTAA Foundation or Consultant Level Diploma is required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a call center or customer service role.
Basic knowledge of airline or travel agency fares and ticketing.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with customers.
Understanding of the airline industry, customer service principles, problem solving techniques, and direct sales strategies.
Relevant industry certifications are an added advantage. Membership in professional bodies is desirable.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make sound decisions while resolving customer issues.
