Africa Safari Trips is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Travel Consultant. The successful candidates will handle customer requests, make follow-up calls, adapt travel routes, create travel programs, and work with local teams and the reservations team.

Position Details

Position: Travel Consultant.
Employer: Africa Safari Trips.
Work Location: Remote, with the candidate based in Africa in the same or a similar time zone as East Africa (GMT +3).

Languages Required

English and French.
German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian.

Key Responsibilities

Handle new customer requests, make follow-up calls, and adapt travel routes.
Communicate with customers in their native language.
Create travel programs with customers according to their wishes.
Work with local teams in different East and South African countries.
Work with the reservations team for hotel bookings.

Qualifications

Ability to speak and write well in English and perfectly in the candidate's native language.
Strong and friendly communication skills.
General computer skills and fast typing skills using all 10 fingers.
Good time and task management skills.
A great sense of responsibility and a commercial attitude.
Ability to work well independently and within a team.
Flexibility to make client calls in the evening when required.
