The Mugie Conservancy Ltd (TMCL) is both a working tourism destination and livestock ranch. Combining sustainable conservation, livestock programme, productive rangeland management, community cooperation and responsible tourism. TMCL seeks to support the people living around its borders to ensure sustainable land management practices that allow development while conserving the natural environment and capital. Mugie is a remote location and the qualified candidate must be prepared to live on site.

Role Summary

The Mugie Conservancy Ltd (TMCL) is seeking a reliable Storekeeper who will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, proper storage practices and accountability for company assets.

Key Responsibilities

Order, receive, inspect and issue food and non food items.
Ensure proper storage conditions for food, beverages and other sensitive items.
Apply FIFO principles to ensure proper stock rotation.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems promptly.
Collaborate closely with procurement, finance and operational departments.
Maintain cleanliness, safety and security within the stores area.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum of three to five years of experience in stores, preferably within a hotel, lodge, camp, restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Good IT skills.
