The Laikipia County Public Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Physiotherapist III (Job Group CPSB 11). This is an entry and training position offered on permanent and pensionable terms.

Position Details

Position: Assistant Physiotherapist III (Job Group CPSB 11).
Number of Vacancies: Two (2).
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable.
Salary: Ksh. 28,620 x 1,110 - 29,730 x 1,120 - 30,850 x 1,150 - 32,000 x 1,170 - 33,170 x 1,250 - 34,420 x 1,300 - 35,720 x 1,380 - 37,100 per month.

Key Responsibilities

Provide physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients at outpatient units, wards and health institutions.
Assess patient needs including rehabilitation requirements.
Verify and maintain information and records relating to patients.
Screen, assess and provide therapeutic exercises according to the patient's treatment plan.
Provide manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy services.
Collect data for operational research.
Sensitize the community on physiotherapy issues.
Prepare periodic reports.

Qualifications

Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Certificate of Registration from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
Current Practicing Certificate from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
