Job Description

The Primary School Teacher will deliver quality, competency-based learning to learners in Grades 1-6. The role focuses on developing literacy, numeracy, logical thinking and positive values, while preparing Grade 6 learners for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

P1 Certificate, Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) or Bachelor of Education in Primary Education (B.Ed Primary).
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and possess a valid TSC number.
At least two (2) years of teaching experience under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Proficiency in CBC lesson planning and the use of digital devices, including tablets and laptops.
Training in CBC Assessment (KNEC CBA).

Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to integrate ICT and digital tools into teaching and learning.
