The Group is seeking a creative and skilled Digital Graphic Designer to shape and enhance its visual presence across all digital and social platforms. This role is ideal for a design professional who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and is passionate about digital-first storytelling and audience engagement.
Job Summary
The Digital Graphic Designer plays a critical role in creating visually compelling, on-brand digital content that drives audience engagement, supports commercial campaigns, and strengthens the Capital Group and Capital FM brands across web, social media, video, podcasts, events, and client campaigns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Design engaging digital assets for social media, websites, newsletters, apps, and digital campaigns in line with brand guidelines.
Produce motion graphics, short-form animations, and promotional video snippets for digital platforms.
Enhance video storytelling through effective text overlays, branding, and transitions.
Collaborate with developers to create visually engaging and user-friendly web and app layouts, including banners and microsite elements.
Support marketing, radio, and social media teams with visuals for campaigns, events, CSR initiatives, and promotions.
Design digital invites, posters, event branding materials, and campaign recap packages.
Create infographics, maps, timelines, and data visualizations for editorial and business storytelling.
Assist in UX prototyping, wireframes, and interactive mock-ups for digital product development.
Optimize visuals for platform-specific requirements (Reels, Carousels, Thumbnails, TikTok formats) ensuring mobile responsiveness.
Manage and maintain a well-organized digital asset library and shared brand templates.
Explore and propose innovative uses of AI and emerging design tools to improve efficiency and creativity.
Provide mentorship and basic design training to internal teams and develop visual usage guides.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within a media house, creative agency, or digital marketing environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating digital-first design across social media, web, and campaigns.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects or Premiere Pro is an added advantage.
Experience designing for multiple digital platforms with a solid understanding of formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and designing for web or mobile apps is an added advantage.

Ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into impactful visuals.
Good understanding of social media trends and platform-specific visual performance.
