FinAgra is an agrifintech company building the technology and operating infrastructure needed to scale commercial agriculture in emerging markets. The company is seeking a results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead its market intelligence and commercial strategy, ensuring farming decisions are driven by confirmed market demand and strong buyer relationships.

Position Details

Position: Sales and Marketing Manager.
Employment Type: Full Time.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid with travel to field locations when necessary.
Department: Procurement and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct structured market research across target regions and agricultural crops.
Monitor regional agricultural produce prices using web based data sources, APIs and other market intelligence tools.
Analyze pricing trends, seasonality, demand volumes, market gaps and commercial opportunities.
Develop reports and dashboards that support evidence based business decisions.
Design and manage the complete sales and marketing process from market intelligence through off take.
Build and maintain a database of buyers and off takers by crop and region.
Support commercial pricing and financial planning through accurate market insights.
Strengthen buyer relationships and contribute to the development of the commercial and market intelligence team.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and data driven approach with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards and APIs.
Experience in market research and analysis, preferably in agriculture, commodities or FMCG.
Commercial, sales or marketing experience with a strong understanding of pricing, demand and market dynamics.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a team.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to create structured processes and perform effectively in a fast changing environment.
Relevant degree in business, economics, agriculture, agribusiness, data analytics or a related field.
