The Enterprise Development Officer will support the implementation of policies, programmes, and projects aimed at promoting Micro and Small Enterprises. The role involves stakeholder engagement, business support, reporting, and coordination of regional activities to enhance enterprise development across assigned counties.
Key Responsibilities
Implement policies, projects, and programmes related to Micro and Small Enterprises.
Draft proposals to support funding initiatives for enterprise development.
Execute MSE programmes and monitor project implementation.
Provide counselling and advisory services to Micro and Small Enterprises.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery.
Compile training, exhibition, and programme reports.
Assist in coordinating regional events and enterprise programmes.
Prepare periodic and quarterly performance reports.
Collate and analyze project implementation reports affecting MSEs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Administration, Strategic Management, Agri-Business, Marketing, Economics, Commerce, Enterprise Development, Human Resource Management or Development, Art and Design, or related social science field.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Demonstrated merit and ability through previous work performance and results.
