Royal Mabati Factory Limited is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of QC Intern Production. The successful candidate will support the implementation of conformity assessment systems for the inspection and certification of locally manufactured and imported materials while ensuring adherence to approved specifications and high quality standards.

Position Details

Position: QC Intern Production.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct constant internal tests against established standards.
Ensure 100 percent material classification accuracy by enforcing segregation of prime sheets from scraps before dispatch.
Support periodic testing of Royal Mabati products by Kenya Bureau of Standards.
Carry out site inspections for customer complaints and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain proper records of raw material tests and assessment reports at the head office and branches.
Analyze and investigate material complaints and reported quality issues to ensure timely closure in line with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Maintain complaint and nonconformance records, tracking systems, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Competencies

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to follow and enforce quality standards.
Strong communication skills to advise production teams and management.
Familiarity with testing procedures and quality documentation is an advantage.
Ability to maintain records systematically and work with minimal supervision.
