The Electronic-waste Producer Responsibility Organization of Kenya (EPROK), an affiliate of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Membership Intern. The successful candidate will support membership growth, recruitment, and engagement initiatives aimed at expanding and strengthening the EPROK membership base.

Job Purpose

Support membership growth, recruitment, and engagement within EPROK as a business membership organization.
Contribute to outreach initiatives and member acquisition activities.
Support communication efforts aimed at expanding and strengthening the EPROK membership base.

Key Objectives

Support the recruitment of new members.
Contribute to measurable growth in membership numbers.
Enhance the visibility of EPROK among potential industry members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the identification, mapping, and recruitment of potential member companies within the sector.
Participate in member acquisition and outreach activities, including phone calls, emails, and physical visits to prospective members.
Present and promote the EPROK membership value proposition to prospective members.
Follow up on membership leads and maintain accurate records of recruitment progress.
Assist in planning and coordinating member engagement meetings, networking forums, and related events.
Support the development and preparation of marketing materials, membership briefs, and promotional content.
Maintain and regularly update membership recruitment databases, tracking tools, and reports.
Assist in onboarding new members by facilitating registration processes and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
Support field coordination activities for e-waste collection drives and partnership initiatives aimed at expanding collection programmes.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the EPROK Coordinator from time to time.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
