The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT hardware, software, local area networks, and wide area networks to ensure reliable infrastructure that supports production processes, minimizes downtime, and enhances operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
Manage and troubleshoot software systems, including operating systems and network protocols.
Oversee local area network and wide area network configurations to ensure secure and efficient data transmission across manufacturing facilities.
Monitor network performance, perform regular maintenance, and implement upgrades to support manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate IT infrastructure with ERP systems and automation tools.
Develop and enforce IT policies for hardware, network security, backups, and disaster recovery.
Provide technical support to end users by resolving hardware, software, local area network, and wide area network related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Three to five years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Competencies

Strong knowledge of hardware including servers, routers, switches, and software systems.
Proficiency in networking protocols including TCP/IP, VLANs, and local area network and wide area network management tools.
Experience with manufacturing systems such as SCADA or Internet of Things integration for production lines.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or an equivalent qualification.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with non technical staff.
