The Software Development and End User Support Intern assists the ICT Department in maintaining information technology systems, supporting software development activities, and providing technical assistance to end users. The internship offers hands on experience in system administration, application support, and troubleshooting while working under the supervision of the ICT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, mobile devices, hardware, systems, and applications.
Troubleshoot system and network problems by diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
Support the development and maintenance of software applications.
Respond to and resolve IT support requests from employees and system users.
Gather and analyze data to diagnose technical issues affecting computer systems.
Assist in installing new software, hardware drivers, and updating existing system components.
Log and track service requests and update support tickets where necessary.
Support installation and maintenance of computer networks including wide area networks and local area networks.
Assist in ensuring the availability and reliability of computer systems and ICT infrastructure.
Provide technical support to end users across the organization.
Perform any other duties assigned by the ICT Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related ICT field.
Equivalent professional experience in a related IT field may be considered.

Internship Details

Department: ICT Department.
Reporting To: ICT Manager.
Internship Duration: Three months.
Internship opportunities are not compensated.
